The Post to TikTok node takes a finished video from your workflow and sends it to a TikTok account. It can drop the video into the account’s TikTok drafts, or post it to the profile directly with a caption and privacy setting you choose.

When to use

  • Publish finished ads and product videos without downloading and re-uploading them
  • Queue videos as drafts so someone can review, add music and post from the TikTok app
Common patterns: generate_video → tiktok_publish, merge_videos → tiktok_publish.

Connect TikTok first

Connect a TikTok account under Settings → Connections. Owners and admins can connect and disconnect accounts, and a connected account is available to every workspace in the organization. Then select the node and pick the account in its config panel.

Drafts or direct posts

The default. TikTok sends the account a notification, and the video waits in the app’s inbox. Open it in TikTok to add a caption, sounds or effects, then post it yourself.Drafts ignore the caption and privacy settings in the node. You set those in TikTok.

Commercial content

Turn on Disclose commercial content when the video promotes something, then say whose brand it is:
  • Your brand: TikTok labels the video “Promotional content”.
  • Branded content (a paid partnership with someone else): TikTok labels the video “Paid partnership”. Branded content can’t be set to Only me.
By posting, you agree to TikTok’s Music Usage Confirmation, and for branded content also the Branded Content Policy. Orisu marks every post as AI-generated content, since the video was made in Orisu.
Until TikTok approves Orisu’s app, direct posts only work with private accounts and must be set to Only me. Drafts work for any account.

Inputs

video
required
The video to send. Up to 100 MB. TikTok accepts MP4, MOV and WebM.
text
Optional. When connected, it replaces the caption typed in the node. Used for direct posts only.

Outputs

text
A link to the post when TikTok returns one. Otherwise a short status, such as a note that the video is in your TikTok drafts or still processing.
TikTok can take a few minutes to process a video before it shows on the profile. If TikTok is still working on it when the node finishes, the output says so and the post appears on its own.

Limits

TikTok caps how often an account can post. If you hit the daily limit, the node fails with a message saying so; try again the next day.
