# Element

> Reference a reusable subject: a character, product, object, scene, or style.

The Element node references a reusable subject such as a character, product, object, scene, or style, and provides it to downstream nodes. Pick the element from the node's picker.

## When to use

* Reuse a character across multiple flows
* Inject a curated product into generated scenes

Common pattern: `element → generate_image`.

## Outputs

## Configuration

You select the element using the node's element picker. The node is invalid until an element is chosen.
